Because many of our products and services involve regulated items and scheduled instruction, different rules apply depending on the type of purchase. General Policy Overview

Guardian Training Academy strives to provide clear product descriptions, accurate scheduling, and professional service. Customers are responsible for reviewing purchase details carefully before completing payment. Certain sales are final due to legal, safety, and regulatory requirements, particularly those involving firearms, ammunition, or compliance-based services.

Refunds or returns that fall outside the conditions described below are not guaranteed and may be declined at our discretion.

Firearms and Regulated Items

All firearm sales and transfers are subject to federal and Michigan firearm laws. Once the transfer process has begun, firearm transactions are generally considered final.

Firearms cannot be returned once paperwork has been completed or a transfer has been initiated. Returns or exchanges are not permitted after a firearm has been transferred to the purchaser.

If a background check results in a delay or denial, Guardian Training Academy cannot complete the transfer. In such cases, any applicable transfer fees, administrative costs, or restocking fees may still apply. These costs cover time, compliance processing, and inventory handling.

Customers are responsible for confirming that the selected firearm is legal and appropriate for their needs prior to purchase.

Ammunition and Consumable Products

For safety and liability reasons, ammunition, defensive products, targets, cleaning supplies, and other consumable items are non-returnable. These items cannot be exchanged or refunded once purchased, even if unopened.

This policy ensures product integrity and compliance with safety standards.

Accessories and Equipment

Unused accessories or equipment may be eligible for return or exchange within a limited timeframe, provided the item is in new, resalable condition and includes original packaging. Returns must be requested promptly and may require proof of purchase.

Guardian Training Academy reserves the right to refuse returns that show signs of use, damage, or missing components. Approved returns may be subject to restocking fees.

Training Courses and Class Registrations

Training courses require reserved instructor time, range space, and equipment. Because class sizes are limited, cancellations affect availability for other students.

Customers who need to cancel or reschedule a class should contact Guardian Training Academy as soon as possible. When adequate notice is provided, we may offer rescheduling or store credit toward a future class. Refunds are not guaranteed.

Failure to attend a scheduled class without notice may result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

If Guardian Training Academy cancels or reschedules a class due to weather, safety concerns, or operational reasons, customers may choose to reschedule or receive a credit.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before processing or preparation begins. Once an item has been prepared for transfer, packaged, or reserved for pickup, cancellation may not be possible.

Special orders or custom items may not be eligible for cancellation or refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is damaged or incorrect due to an error on our part, please notify us promptly. Claims should be reported within 48 hours of receipt. We may request photos or additional information to evaluate the issue.

If confirmed, we will work with you to provide a replacement, repair, or store credit at our discretion.

Refused or Abandoned Transfers

If a customer refuses pickup of a special order or is unable to complete a firearm transfer due to legal ineligibility, the item may be subject to restocking or administrative fees. Guardian Training Academy is not responsible for costs associated with denied transfers or unclaimed items.

Items left unclaimed for extended periods may incur storage fees where permitted by law.

Refund Method

When refunds or credits are approved, they may be issued in the original form of payment or as store credit, depending on the situation and at our discretion. Processing times may vary based on payment provider policies.

Policy Changes

Guardian Training Academy may update this Refund & Return Policy at any time to reflect operational or legal changes. Updated versions will be posted on our website and become effective immediately upon posting.
